How do I improve myself?

What is the meaning of life? I first had this question when I was 12. I came back from school and was staring blankly out of the window when suddenly, I was overwhelmed by this question, "What is the meaning of life if it will end one day?" At that time, I thought nothing seemed worth doing it.

"What if I'm going to disappear like a bubble eventually, then what is the meaning and purpose of studying and working hard?" After I asked this question to myself, I became the least passionate person until I began to meditate in my mid-20s.

Living a life without purpose and passion was torture day by day. Do you know when I was the most afraid? It is a day in the morning. The fact that I had to wake up and be ready for a new day with the feeling of hopelessness.

However, ta-da! Here I am. After I practiced this meditation, my mindset has completely changed. I’ve become a person who could appreciate every day with all respect and admiration. I can say that I am reborn as a whole new person; This is the best way to describe what had happened to me. I felt like something magical happened to me. Let me continue to share more about my changes.

The fascinating reason that I chose this meditation was the fact that I could throw away anything unnecessary in my mind. Back then, I desperately wanted not to have anything in my mind; my negative view, void feelings, hopelessness, apathetic attitude, etc.

After work, I went straight to the meditation center, and I meditated as hard as possible. It was the first thing that I did with a passion ever. After a month, I noticed changes in myself, and it was a turning point in my life.

  • As I got rid of my negative view, everything became so grateful to me. I am grateful for having people around me that I can interact with, and I am grateful for the world where I can live. The biggest miracle is that I’ve become to thank for my existence itself. ❤

  • As I got rid of my void feelings, I could have a can-do attitude.

  • As I got rid of my hopelessness, I found that life itself is hope.

  • As I got rid of my apathetic attitude, the world became full of excitement.

Consequently, through this meditation, I got a new life. I became a person who loves waking up in the morning from a person who feared waking up in the morning. My life has improved so much, and I became a person from the least passionate person to the most passionate person.
